Find out how your people respond to the phishing emails, phone calls, and pretexts attackers actually use, and whether anyone reports them. Realistic campaigns run by CISA-certified auditors.
Get Your QuoteMost attacks do not start with a firewall. They start with a person who opens an email, answers a call, or holds a door open.
Our Certified Information Systems Auditors run the same kinds of phishing, vishing, and pretexting campaigns real attackers use, written for your industry and your people. We measure who opens, clicks, and hands over credentials, how quickly someone reports it, and whether your payment and help desk procedures hold up under pressure. You receive specific recommendations for training, process, and technical controls, so the next campaign goes differently.
Phishing is the most common way an attacker gets a first foothold, and it is the one control no configuration review can measure. A firewall rule either exists or it does not. Whether someone in your finance team will approve an urgent payment change at five o'clock on a Friday is a question only a test can answer.
Phishing is also the usual first step in a ransomware incident. If your concern is what happens after the click, our ransomware readiness audit measures what you could restore and how long it would take. For the technical controls that should stop a phishing message before it reaches an inbox, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and Defender for Office 365, see our Microsoft 365 security audit.
The tells that used to give a phishing email away are gone: broken grammar, an odd greeting, a signature block that did not match. Generative AI writes fluent, contextually specific messages at scale, in your industry's vocabulary and in your executives' phrasing. The same tools clone a voice from a short sample of public audio and produce deepfake video convincing enough to carry a live call, which is why finance teams are increasingly defrauded on a video conference rather than in an inbox.
This changes what a defense has to be. Content-based judgment, asking staff whether a message looks suspicious, is no longer a control you can rely on. What holds up is process: out-of-band verification for payment and credential changes, a defined way to report a suspicious request without fear of being wrong, and phishing-resistant authentication that does not depend on a person deciding correctly under pressure. Our assessments test that process, using campaigns written to the standard an attacker with the same tools would reach.
Artificial intelligence in cybersecurity cuts both ways. Where the question is how the AI systems your own organization builds or buys are governed, secured, and kept compliant, that is the subject of our AI governance audit.
Organizations that need ongoing testing of their people alongside their systems and processes often move from one-time assessments to a recurring program. Our Red Team Assessment Program combines phishing, vishing, and pretexting campaigns with black box penetration testing and adversary simulation mapped to MITRE ATT&CK. It is delivered on a monthly, quarterly, or custom cadence with cumulative trend reporting.
Results for every campaign: who opened, clicked, and submitted credentials, who reported and how quickly, broken down by department and role. Each finding comes with specific recommendations for training, process, and technical controls. After delivery, Altius IT provides three months of free support.
Altius IT provides a certified auditor with each engagement:
Our proposal provides you with detailed information so you know exactly how we will help you:
Three phases that test your people the way an attacker would, safely and with your approval.
We agree on the scenarios, the people in scope, the timing, and the rules of engagement with a small group who know the test is happening. Campaigns are written from public information about your organization, the way an attacker would research you. You receive a detailed proposal covering scope, pricing options, team CVs, and sample reports.
We send phishing emails, make vishing and smishing attempts, and, where in scope, attempt physical pretexting. Credential pages capture only that a submission happened, not the password itself, and every campaign can be stopped at any time.
You receive results by campaign, department, and role, with recommendations for training, process, and technical controls. We walk your team through the results and provide three months of free post-audit support.
This assessment is for organizations that want evidence of how their people respond, not an assumption based on completed training.
| Finance & Payments Teams | Anyone who can approve a wire, change vendor bank details, or release funds. |
| Help Desks | Staff who reset passwords and multi-factor authentication, a favorite target for phone pretexting. |
| Cyber Insurance Applicants | Insurers ask about phishing training and testing, and evidence strengthens your answers. |
| Regulated Organizations | Healthcare, financial services, and others whose frameworks expect security awareness to be measured. |
| After a Phishing Incident | Organizations that want to know whether training and new controls actually changed behavior. |
No. Only a small group, usually IT or security leadership, knows the timing and scenarios. That keeps the results realistic while making sure the test can be stopped at any time.
No. Our credential pages record that a submission happened and who made it, but do not store the password itself.
Results can be reported by department and role rather than by name. Many organizations prefer this, because the goal is better training and processes, not blaming individuals.
At least annually, and more often for high-risk teams such as finance and the help desk. Organizations that want recurring campaigns alongside penetration testing often move to our Red Team Assessment Program.
