Technologies, Inc., Managing Principal
Oversees day-to-day operations of leading Information Technology
(IT) company providing
risk assessments,
audits,
compliance, and
security consulting
services. He is an expert
commentator for MSNBC and a featured presenter at the
National Symposium on Cyber Crime. Mr. Kelton analyzes
business risk issues,
provides alternatives for each issue, and provides
advantages and disadvantages for each alternative. He also
projects, provides, and recommends alternatives for worst-case
scenarios. As a forensics expert, he
investigates and analyzes evidence, electronic communications
and e-mails, and assists with information recovery. As an
expert witness, he provides expert opinion
reports for discovery and trial phase and renders expert
opinions through discovery and trial phase.
1979 – 1993 Subsidiary of Philip Morris, Chief
Information Officer (CIO)
Served as Chief Information Officer for the Mission Viejo
Company (a subsidiary of Philip Morris) and the planned
communities of Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, and Highlands Ranch
(Colorado). Automated all aspects of business operations through
the use of mini-computer, Novell and Microsoft networks, outside
computer services, and high-speed data lines. Responsible for
voice and data communications and integration. Oversaw
programming and development staff, computer operations, and PC
operations and networking for the company. Interfaced and
coordinated Mission Viejo Company’s Information Technology
infrastructure and planning with their parent company, Philip
Morris.
1977 – 1979 Senior Systems Analyst, Burroughs
Corporation
Provided application programming, systems analysis, screen
interfaces, and database development services. Served as team
lead on accounting module.
Education
Mr. Kelton received undergraduate and graduate degrees from the
University of Arizona. According to US News and World
Report rankings, the University of Arizona Management
Information Systems (MIS) program was rated #4 in the United
States. While attending classes at the University of
Arizona, Mr. Kelton spent several years as an instructor
teaching undergraduate students.
